UNBURIED was conceived within the crazed and twisted mind of Matt Pike in the year 1994. UNBURIED was designed as a therapeutic release of life's frustrations and complexities often taking form in a very aggressive and untamed manner. Matt's vision first manifested with a three track debut cassette demo release simply titled "Demo #1," with Christian Taylor (vocals) and Mark Riddick (drum machine).

The 1998 follow-up demo, "Tortured Remains," received much praise throughout the international underground death metal scene. This second opus of sickness and gore featured session members Rebecca Hawkins (vocals) and Mark Riddick (bass, drum programming). UNBURIED are currently working as a duo (Matt and Mark) and have plans to unleash their sick depravity throughout the underground scene.

UNBURIED finally debuted in 2006 on a split CD with SEEKING OBSCURE, courtesy of Metalbolic Records.
